The first edition of G2G Expo 2022, held at Park Regis Goa on November 11-12, saw participation from hundreds of attendees and speakers from major gaming companies across India and other parts of the world.
15 exhibitors, from technology and marketing companies to payment services companies, showcased their products and services in the exhibition arena. Along with the exhibitors, there was a ‘gaming zone’ which displayed state-of-the-art games and allowed visitors to enjoy AR/VR sports and shooting games for free.
The two-day event saw a discussion on various topics such as investment opportunities, regulatory landscape, marketing channels, the impact of metaverse and blockchain technology on the future of the gaming industry, as well as GST-related challenges faced by the industry.
Jay Sayta, advisor, G2G Expo, said: “It was a fantastic experience bringing together the entire gaming industry on one platform. We were actually surprised at the overwhelming response and great support we received from all quarters. We will be back next year with a bigger and better event. The dates for the 2023 edition of the event will be announced soon.”
